Psalm 139.14
14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.
Psalm 139 outlines the magnificent attributes of God. To know God is the greatest pursuit anyone can do.
the attribute omnipotent is seen in our memory verse today
omnipotent means the God is All powerful.
Genesis 1 “1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. God spoke all of creation into existence by the might power of his words. in six days.
on the sith day he made man in his own image.
man is his greatest creation and He set man to rule over all creation.
He gave us a mind intelligence, the ability to communicate, to form relationships and a soul to love and feel emotions, he gave us a freewill to chose to have a relationship with him.
In this verse we see a heart of thankfulness.
Psalm 40:5 “5 Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count.”
this is an attitude. when we look at what we want v. what we already have can bring many temptations and sin.
to be fearfully made, means you contemplate and consider the complexity of life, how complex the body is designed.
Complex Systems: Design in Nature
Complex Systems: Design in Nature
Biological Systems
Human Body:
Circulatory System: A complex network of blood vessels that transports blood throughout the body, delivering oxygen and nutrients and removing waste.
Nervous System: A network of cells that transmit signals throughout the body, controlling movement, thought, and sensation.
Immune System: A complex system of cells, organs, and tissues that protects the body from infection and disease.
A Divine Masterpiece
In the beginning, the Divine Creator, with infinite wisdom and power, brought forth the universe from nothingness. He designed and crafted each intricate detail, from the vast expanse of the cosmos to the delicate intricacies of a single cell.
The human body, a marvel of creation, is a testament to God's artistry. The circulatory system, a network of vessels pulsating with life, carries the blood, nourishing every part. The nervous system, a complex web of neurons, transmits signals, enabling thought, movement, and sensation. The immune system, a vigilant guardian, protects the body from harm.
The Earth, a living planet, is a masterpiece of divine engineering. The hydrological cycle, a ceaseless dance of water, sustains life. The atmospheric circulation, a delicate balance of winds and currents, regulates the climate. Plate tectonics, a slow and powerful force, shapes the land.
These systems and countless others are not mere accidents of nature; they are the deliberate handiwork of a loving Creator. Each detail, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, reveals the infinite wisdom and care of God.
