O Jacob, how can you say the Lord does not see your troubles? O Israel, how can you say God ignores your rights?
Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
Why do you say?
Why do you continuously say to yourself and to people around you, my situation is hidden from God
It is bad enough to have evil or negative thoughts in our minds, but it is even worse to say them
Lack of faith or weak faith doesnt please God
The questions expose the weakness of faith and also the foolishness of faithlessness.
Can our lives be so difficult and complicated that God does not notice or cannot handle our issues
“My way is hidden from God “suggests the belief that God did not see their current circumstance.
God has decided to ignore my appeal to Him, He has decided to ignore my crying
Our God exists through eternity, He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent
Our God has unlimited strength and unlimited wisdom
He is the one who shares this strength to the weak and weary (tired)
To be tired is to suffer failure in a certain area of life because you don't have the strength
To be weary is to be exhausted because of the hardness of life
Young peoples strength can fail, but those who hope (wait) on the LORD … renew their strength.
Even young people will be faint because Gods supply of strength is much greater than a young person’s energy.
Hope here talks about the certainty, the assurance 100% trust in Gods ability to help
The word “Renew” simply means “to change” like a change of clothes
We keep putting on fresh (new) strength’. It is a different strength
New strength for today, new strength for tomorrow, new strength for every day
Just as the eagle sheds its feathers and gains new ones, as if people become eagles
A strength brought about by transformation; it is divine strength, a strength like the Lord’s own that does not weary or faint
The wrong answer is to say that God is too great to care; the right answer is that he is too great to fail
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
Instead of seeing the open door, the Jews saw only the long road before them; and they complained that they did not have strength for the journey.
God was asking them to do the impossible.
But God knows how we feel and what we fear, and He is adequate to meet our every need. We can never obey God in our own strength, but we can always trust Him to provide the strength we need
Phil. 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
If we trust ourselves, we will faint and fall; but if we wait on the Lord by faith, we will receive strength for the journey.
The word “wait” does not suggest that we sit around and do nothing. It means “to hope,” to look to God for all that we need
Isa. 26:3
You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: “In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” But you would not,
The word “renew” means “to exchange,” like taking off old clothes and putting on new ones. We exchange our weakness for His power
As we wait before Him, God enables us to soar when there is a crisis, to run when the challenges are many, and to walk faithfully in the day-by-day demands of life.
It is much harder to walk in the ordinary pressures of life than to fly like the eagle in a time of crisis.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.
Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.
