Steward - One who manages or looks after another’s property
Lottery Intro:
William "Bud" Post won $16.2 million in the Pennsylvania lottery in 1988, but he was $1 million in debt within a year.
"I wish it never happened," Post said. "It was totally a nightmare."
A former girlfriend successfully sued him for a third of his winnings, and his brother was arrested for allegedly hiring a hit man to kill him in the hopes he'd inherit a share of the winnings.
After sinking money into family businesses, Post sank into debt and spent time in jail for firing a gun over the head of a bill collector.
"I was much happier when I was broke," he said, The Washington Post reported.
Bud lived quietly on $450 a month and food stamps until his death in 2006.
Five years after Kentucky resident David Lee Edwards won a $27 million jackpot, he was penniless and living in a storage shed with his wife. The couple squandered their fortune on the typical goodies that sink so many lucky winners. They bought dozens of high-end cars, mansions and a plane.
They blew through $3 million in the first three months. By the end of the first year, $12 million was in the wind. By 2006, the couple had spiraled into drug addiction; and, just 12 years after the win changed the course of his life, David Lee Edwards died alone and broke in hospice care at the age of 58.
Billions of people live a life thinking once they get money, they will know what to do with it. One of the biggest tricks is that the way you handle money is how you grow money.

Christian Stewardship is about using what God has given us to further glorify Him and do His work.
Priorities: Where you spend your Time and Money tell where your priorities are.
Leadership Playbook: Leadership lives within their means when everyone else keeps up with the Jone’s.
Let a man so regard us as the ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.
These verses here are specifically saying that we as Christians have been given something extremely special - the truth about how to have a relationship with God, we therefore need to be good stewards of what we have been given and pass it on to others.

My Dad works with a man in his late 40’s and he pays a crazy amount in rent every month, but he also has a collection of designer shoes which he brags about at work. Each pair of shoes can be 300/400 dollars.
There are people who live paycheck to paycheck every month and they do not have to.
money can be your master or you can master your money….
