Introduction

Good morning Church.
I’d like to thank each and every one of you for coming out to join us today.
This morning, we will be continuing on in our study of the Book of Acts here and today we will be picking up right where we left off last week in Chapter 19.
The title I have given to today’s message is Money, Mayhem, Mobs & the Magnificence of God.
Often times, this world throws us curve balls. And it never fails, those curve balls seem to come when we least expect them and often catch us off guard.
And more often than not, we allow those curve balls to get us out of sorts and we allow our anxiety to get the best of us when what we should do instead, is stop, see the situation at hand, and take our supplication to God for help.
Before we get into the message today, I want to read you a very familiar verse as the backdrop of our message today.
Romans 8:28 KJV 1900
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
If we would just trust in this this verse when those curve balls come our way, we’d be so much better off and we’d have so much less anxiety and stress!
We’re going to see a situation take place this morning where chaos erupts due to the spread of the gospel and we’re going to see Paul want to get involved but it’s like God says to Paul… “Paul, just chill man. I got this! Let me show you what I can do!”
And we’re going to see the sovereignty of God reign supreme, even in the midst of a group of non believers and not a single person gets harmed.
The main goal of today’s message is for us to see God go to work behind the scenes to bring about His goal and ultimately for His glory and for us to find some confidence in our walk with God that the next time chaos erupts in our own lives we can trust that God’s got this!
With no further ado, if you have your Bible’s with you and you have them turned to Acts 19:21 would you say, Amen.
