Take Heed

Acts 20:28 “28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”

Purchase — obttain by paying a price.

Genesis 1:7–9 “7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.”

but only one is “purchased.”

We experience “puchased by the precious blood of Jesus!

1 Corinthians 6:20 “20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

1 Corinthians 7:23 “23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.”

Cain and Abel were taught at the feet of Adam that God demanded blood— but Cain gave according to his will.

God always wanted a place to put His rest.

Easu’s problem entered in when he served God by his own will and not the way he was taught.

You have to bargain with the devil to give your birthright up!

1900 years ago a man was born contrary to the laws of nature.

Jeremiah said: God said: “If I can find one just person in Jerusalem— I will spare it!”

This is what our church means to our city.
