Here’s how you get to the inferno:

Strike the match & follow the fire.

Match = Decision starts the fire.

You have the match.

Fire = Holy Spirit

Will you strike the match & follow the flame?

2 Corinthians 6:16 (NIV)

What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will live with [in] them

and walk among [in] them,

and I will be their God,

and they will be my people.”

Temple = naos (nah-ahs) comes from the root word to dwell

“We are the dwelling of the living God”

1) Outer courts

2) Holy Place

3) Most Holy Place

Behind the second curtain (veil) was a room called the Most Holy Place,

1) Ark of the Covenant = Symbols of faith and God’s presence

2) Mercy Seat = meeting place with man + judgement

Exodus 25:22 “There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the covenant law, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites

Exodus 25:18–21 (NIV)

And make two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover. Make one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; make the cherubim of one piece with the cover, at the two ends. The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover. Place the cover on top of the ark and put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law that I will give you.

Isaiah 37:16 (NIV)

“Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

Hebrews 9:7–8 (NIV)

But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance. 9 The Holy Spirit was showing by this that the way into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still functioning.

We have the way disclosed = the blood!

Hebrews 10:19–22 (NIV)

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

How to sustain the inferno?

Match + wood, paper + gasoline

Cardboard = fasting burns extra hot but quickly fades out

Wood = what you sacrifice for the rest of your life.

Something you do daily for ever.

Sacrifice is sustaining

Burn in intimacy with God everyday!

Some say “I want more” but no sacrifice

Fire always falls on sacrifice! 1King18:38 The fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the waters in the trench.

What is your greatest struggle? That keeps you from sacrifice?

Microphone = My life is the microphone declaring the power of Jesus

LIFE:

Don’t have to go to every service.

Inconvenience yourself.

Inferno: Only what is eternal remains

Everything else goes

You will see miracles, signs, wonders

Revival fire is in your hands / eyes / mouth

Some crying for help. Stressed. Afraid. Hopeless. Not eternal.

Let these things burn up. They are not eternal.

We go through real stress and real problems, but we have an eternal answer.

Inferno: Dead things come to life - Dreams. Ministry. Marriage. Gifts.

Lazarus you need to strike the match and follow the flame to the inferno.

Trail = no lack

James 1:2–4 (NIV)

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Feel lack = Lord is teaching us something to get us into the inferno.
