Impressive huh?
I first saw this video a few years ago and I was so impressed and this last week I went back and watched it again because the piece actually encapsulates so much of what I know to be true about you. What is it about Danny that reminds me of this music.
Let me show you. This is what that music looks like on paper.
This is Bach Cello Suite Prelude on the Classical Guitar.
It is a very beautiful piece of music and it is also a very busy piece of music.
It is darting here there and everywhere. Look at this. Only a few “Birdseye” rests here and there and it is off and running again.
This piece of music sounds like the way Pastor Danny has made himself available to do ministry in the Kingdom.
He is always on the move and making a beautiful impact on the lives of people that he ministers to. Danny is energetic and a very ambitious minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has been willing and eager to take on so many ministry responsibilities both within the walls of the church and in the community in general.
Danny is very ambitious, and his aim with that ambition is to do that which he has sensed God leading Him to do.
That reminds me of another ambitious person. The Apostle Paul was so eagerly ambitious to make the Gospel of Jesus Christ known. That ambition lead him here there and everywhere in the 1st century world. And while he was going about the business of the kingdom His aim was to please God.
Paul told the Corinthians that…
2 Corinthians 5:9 ESV
9 So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.
Danny we are grateful for your involvement in kingdom matters here for the last decade. The ministry that you have been enabled to do, wasn’t carried out by your powerful ambitious, it was accomplished by the “surpassing power that belongs to God and not to anyone of us” who are called pastors.
Paul said that the vessel of his body was like a jar of clay, but within that jar of clay was a treasure. Paul had a firm grip on the knowledge of the glory of God in face of Jesus Christ. The Gospel.
So, knowing that you know that, would you please come here and open up God’s Word once again and share from your heart that has been captured by the beauty of the Gospel message.
Show us Christ in these Scriptures.
Let’s pray.
