Genesis 21:1-7.

Central Idea: God demonstrated his faithfulness by providing Isaac to Abraham and Sarah as he promised.

What should I do in response to who God is?

Affirm His faithfulness. [vv. 1-2]

The LORD came to Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah what He had promised.

Commit to obedience. [vv. 3-5]

Abraham named his son who was born to him— the one Sarah bore to him— Isaac…Abraham circumcised him, as God had commanded him.

Trust is His promises. [vv. 6-7]

God has made me laugh, and everyone who hears will laugh with me.
