Serving God in the right way
Serving God in the right way
Why do we do what we Do
What is Our Motive
Are we looking for gratitude For things that we do
We need to look at how Jesus served and then make sure that we are doing the same
It's not about someone calling your name or giving you an offering but it is about the service that you give to the Lord for the people of God
Because this is where our blessings come from
Look around the world And see How many people do Things just to get something That is not a blessing that's payoff
Many people have ended it with the mentality of give me And I'll give you
Wrong attitude And Wrong outlook on what you are supposed to be seeking
King James Version (Chapter 6)
5 Servants, be obedient to them that
are your masters according to the
flesh, with fear and trembling, in
singleness of your heart, as unto
Christ;
Faithlife Study Bible Chapter 6
obey your earthly masters Being under Christ’s authority does not mean that believers are free of all civil or social authority. Paul maintains that slaves should serve their human masters as though they were obeying Christ. Graeco-Roman slavery in the first century AD was very different from that of the colonial period (see note on Phlm 10).
6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers;
but as the servants of Christ, doing the
will of God from the heart;6:6 from the heart Implies that believers should have the right motivation for their actions.

7 With good will doing service, as to
the Lord, and not to men:
8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing
any man doeth, the same shall he
receive of the Lord, whether he be
bond or free.

receive back from the Lord God takes account of the kindness and generosity people display to one another.

Matthew 10:8 “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”
Mark 2:17 “When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
