We are here to take both an offering and commitments to for Christmas for Christ.
If you don’t know, NAM is the primary mechanism that we as the UPCI, utilize to finance starting churches in the US and Canada.
NAM Trains, Funds and Sends new pastors in new cities.
Through Christmas for Christ, we raised 8.3 million dollars for church plants last year.
This year our national goal is: 10 million!
Last year we planed 242 new churches/one church every 36 hours!
This year our national goal is to start 365 new churches, one every day of the year!
Tonight we are going to do three things.
Receive an offering - what is taken in cash money tonight is our first wave of giving.
Receive pledges - Official due date is December 25th - pay that through your local church so that your church is credited
Take your pledge card and write a number on it and pray
TNT pledges - each pastor take a card and pray over it and fill out and turn it in.
365 new works a day!

TIMER
Philippians 3:13–15 KJV 1900
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Title: The Pull Of The Future
It seems to me that we are in a never ending game of Tug-of-war with our time.
Our jobs, families, hobbies, churches all are grasping for our attention.
While if I asked, we could all come up with lists of things that pull at us…
I am going to distill it down into three basic things that constantly pull at us!
Past
Present
Future
Timeline illustration
Our Present - detractions, careers, family, entertainment
Tries to move me off my course
Our past - Constantly pulls on us.
We are a little district, flyover country
Condemnation, insecurity, tether us in place.
Rising tide raises all ships - no… if a ship is feathered to the bottom and the tide rises high enough the rising tide will sink a ship.
If your tied to the past, the future can overwhelm you!
Our future - the call of God pulling us!
We need the supernatural grace of God in our lives to fulfill!
We have to shake off the past, ignore the distraction of the present and surrender to the pull of the future!
Our problem is we think we have to figure it all out!
We constrain God with our linear thinking!
BUT! God is eternal!
He exists before time, in time and after time.
We have to move from the past into the future.
Is 46:10 - He knows the end from the beginning!
We can see only our present and what has been…
I’m thankful for that because goodness and mercy follow me!
BUT God also sees from your future to you beginning!
See’s every place you’re going to be,
Know where you will need help and provision!
Every place Strength and wisdom!
That’s why 1 Cor 10:13 says that there is a way of escape made before you ever get tot he place of temptation!
God just don’t know your past to your present, but he also knows your beginning to end!
Conclusion:
Sections 2 and 3 of the Nebraska district!
Can you feel the pull of the future?
We can have a long list of all the reasons why we will never have what has been prophesied…
I say to you that we are well able to get a church established in:
Kearney - 34,000 people right now calling for us to get a church started… can you look far enough into the future to see it?
Clay county - 6,200 people
Waverley - 4,300
David city - 3,000
Hickman - 2,500
South Sioux City - 82,000
Gretna - 5,000
Wahoo - 4,500
West Point - 3,200
God chose you to be here to be a part of his plan!
Do you feel the pull of the future?
Return to seats and take offering and pledges
