When Americans are asked what they want but can’t attain, the number
one response is peace! We are told to pursue success, popularity, possessions, pleasure. And yet as people pursue these, they aren’t finding peace. Rather than coming together we are in the middle of a society being torn apart at the seams. Jesus shares that true happiness isn’t found in personal gain but in helping to stitch those tears back together.
