Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Gluttony and debauchery--taking any appetite to excess. When our carnal appetites (not just the lust for sexual excess, which is what the connotation of debauchery has taken as the prime excess. Not so.
1064. γαστήρ gastḗr; gen . gastéros, pl. gastéres. The belly (Sept .: Num. 5:22; Job 40:11).
(I) Particularly the stomach (Sept .: Job 15:2; 20:23) and metaphorically, appetite, excessive eating. In the NT , a glutton (Titus 1:12), “The Cretians are always . . . slow bellies,” meaning lazy gormandizers or gluttons. Such in ancient Greece were called gastródouloi, slaves of their stomachs.1
From the most inner sensory organ---the Heart, which has grown lazy and fat G#1054? Then the spiritual eyes and ears are blinded and deafened, back to the Heart...”Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”
