A wife for Issac

Genesis 24:7 ESV
The Lord, the God of heaven, who took me from my father’s house and from the land of my kindred, and who spoke to me and swore to me, ‘To your offspring I will give this land,’ he will send his angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.
Abraham’s servant takes this all on faith and prays to God based on faith
Genesis 24:12 ESV
And he said, “O Lord, God of my master Abraham, please grant me success today and show steadfast love to my master Abraham.
Genesis 24:27 ESV
and said, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken his steadfast love and his faithfulness toward my master. As for me, the Lord has led me in the way to the house of my master’s kinsmen.”
The Lord was with him
Genesis 24:50 ESV
Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, “The thing has come from the Lord; we cannot speak to you bad or good.
What does it mean to be a servant
Eliezer In charge of many things
What it means to be a servant and a steward
If Issac was not born then the inheritance would have gone to him
He could have been bitter and angry with Issac, instead he is doing everything in his power
He obeys quickly and exactly how he is told
He anticipates difficulties, when they comes he prays to God
Patient
Gets right to it
Why can he be a faithful servant, because he knew that God keep his promises
Go brought Rebecca to Eliezer
God cares about the little details in our lives, God is faithful to keep his promises if we are good servants like Eliezer.
What does it mean to be a servant
Eliezer In charge of many things

We can venture and go out because we have God on our side
God cared for the details of Eliezer along the way
When he prayed he got immediate answers
We might not always get immediate answers yet we get answers all the same
Faith is not believing the the good time only, but in the bad times as well
Have you known you were supposed to do something but you didn't want to do it.
Providence
We are not an ant farm to God, We is active in our lives
He was active in the lives of Adam and Eve, Abram, and Eleizer and you
We can go boldly to where ever we need to go in life
Where do we go
We go where God tell us. Not just where is fun or where we want to go but according to God’s will
How do we know that we need to be in prayer, we need to know this Bible
How can we go boldly
We can go boldly knowing that God is on our side
What happens when we forget,
Ebenezer stones
Adam and Eve forgot God’s promises
Abraham was able to keep God’s promises because he was able to trust God’s promises
Crossing the Jordon
Journaling, taking time, praying for Belief

And Jesus said to him, “ ‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”
Praise to God

Christ was a servant who came down to help us, Instead of giving us water that will go away he gave use water that never will.
