Introduction

The heart or mind is the sit of our intellect and emotions where decision are made.

Until the mental picture of our mind aligns with God’s word, we have not believed but in the doubt zone. Gen 15:6

And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

If our hearts is not protected, it will be filled with garbage

Misconception of Faith

Many confuse faith with desire which Got is not obliged to honour

Desire always comes with a condition of our relationship with God and the alignment of the will of God Ps 37:4 ; Matt 7:7; Ps 145:19

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

He will fulfil the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.

It is God’s prerogative to do what we ask Him, He’s not oblige to do them if the request contradict His will 1 John 5:14-15

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

What is faith

Faith is God’s initiative

When we believe him, He is obliged to make it good His word.

Faith is an act of grace that we receive not because we deserve it but because of His mercies Romans 4:16

Therefore, [inheriting] the promise is the outcome of faith and depends [entirely] on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of grace (unmerited favor), to make it stable and valid and guaranteed to all his descendants—not only to the devotees and adherents of the Law, but also to those who share the faith of Abraham, who is [thus] the father of us all.

Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

Satan is at war with us

For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

How to overcome Satan and his ploys?

Praise and give glory to God Rom 4:20-21

No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised.

Take responsibility over the thoughts of your mind - take them captive challenging with God’s word 2 Corinthians 10:5

[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),

Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. Conclusion

Get out of the doubt zone and move in the Faith Lane.
