Back In The Land

God has brought the Israelite people back into the land

The have become prosperous

they are rich in minerals from the dead sea

they have an abundance of oil and natural gas

rich in produce from the ground

the land of milk and honey the promised land

the Land that belongs to God

Ezekiel 38:16 (LSB)

and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It will be in the last days that I will bring you against My land so that the nations may know Me when I prove Myself holy through you before their eyes, O Gog.”

My people some take this as God has put his attention back onto Israel

Romans 11:7–11 LSB

What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but the chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened; just as it is written, “God gave them a spirit of stupor, Eyes to see not and ears to hear not, Down to this very day.” And David says, “Let their table become a snare and a trap, And a stumbling block and a retribution to them. “Let their eyes be darkened to see not, And bend their backs forever.” I say then, did they stumble so as to fall? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous.

the church has now been taken away and God is dealing with the Jews again

God is now going to deal with the enemies of Israel

Russia, Turkey, Iran, North Africa, and Libya

but first lets look at the immediate surrounding nations and people groups

The Psalm 83 War

turn to Psalm 83.

V 1- 8

all these groups today are at war with Israel

Iran has constructed these groups

they have financed these groups

they have provided leadership to these groups

they have provided weapons and rockets

V 9-19

A prayer is made to have these armies destroyed

and they are being destroyed as we speak

how long does this war go on we don’t know

so lets look at Ezekiel 38.

God Speaks To Gog

V 1-2

Gog is a leader of an army

the army from the far north

Russia Is Putin Gog?

I can say uniquifically I don’t know

He is very much like Gog

he is power hungry

he wants the empire to grow

some have suggested that Gog is a demon leader

who is going to lead a coalition of countries against Israel

but whoever it is God is speaking to this person

V 3 I Am against you

V 4-8

I will turn you around

you will be like a fish that has been caught

the fish will be turned toward the boat and reeled in .

Proverbs 21:1 LSB

The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of Yahweh; He turns it wherever He pleases.

whoever is elected will be under the control of God

to move in a way that brings honor to him

here God is going to bring this leader with his coalition to destroy and plunder the land of God

V 8

in the last years — the final years

the end of the age

the lush villages and cities of Israel

which was once a desolate land

as permanent ruins

V 9

all these nations Russia, Turkey, Iran, Libya, and Sudan

will converge onto Israel.

lets look at these nations

Turkey hates Israel they will make economic decisions against Israel to their own detriment

Iran will have lost hesbollah, probably the Houtys, and Hamas. maybe even their nuclear capabilities to destroy Israel.

Russia has lost the pipeline of gas they were selling to Europe. they are engaged in a war that is depleating their money and soldiers. North Korea right now is sending soldiers to Russia to fight with the Ukraine

Sudan has been in a civil war that has depleted their resources, they have been involved in the past of fighting against Israel

all of these countries have a reason to plunder the resources of Israel

just like the US other poorer countries

have risked their lives to enter

V 10-11

things will come to your mind

these are things that they have already been thinking about

in the back of their mind

coveting the riches

coveting the death of Israel

Acts 5:1–4 LSB

But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, and kept back some of the price for himself, with his wife’s full knowledge. And bringing a portion of it, he laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land? “While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your authority? Why is it that you laid this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

Thing will come to your mind

to come upon a people without walls or doors

a defenseless people living in peace

is the war they are going through right now going to deplete them of all their arms?

is the peace treaty with the antichrist that begins the last 7 years of Daniels vision going to stipulate that they destroy the IDF?

whatever it is Israel will be defenceless

V 12-13

Saudi Arabia, Britain

V 14-16

they are going to be a unstoppable force surrounding Israel

to look at them the people of Israel know about this prophecy and they know about this battle that God will win for them

like with Elisha

2 Kings 6:15–17 LSB

Then the attendant of the man of God arose early and went out, and behold, a military force with horses and chariots was all around the city. And his young man said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” So he said, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Yahweh, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And Yahweh opened the eyes of the young man and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

If they don’t believe in the power of God before this then they will after

the nations will also know the power of God

there will be no more professing atheists

V 17-18

God’s wrath will mount up

God is going to destroy this great army

but we will not look at this until next week

We don’t know what the election will be on Tuesday

but be assured that whoever becomes our next president

God has put this person on the throne

for His glory

for His purpose this world is coming apart at the seams but, if you are a believer, we belong to the Kingdom of God

we are not of this world

we are just passing through in this short time we call life.

so be encouraged, Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us

and when He is finished will come again to receive us unto Himself.
