Paul Writes to Timothy

English Standard Version (Chapter 4)
4 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
King James Version (Chapter 12)
12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
These passages are as much about being a Godly man everyday as they convey a special sense of the supernatural call of God on the life of God’s servants. It’s not just for the professional. It’s about all of us.

Finishing Strong

As you’re entering the second half of your life, you want to be able to say:
1. I discovered and lived God’s purpose for my life.
2. I left no unfinished business.
3. I loved people and used things.
4. I left a Godly heritage for the next generation.
5. I provided the best I could for my family.
6. I honored my commitments (or I’ve made an effort to make things right).
7. I was confident of my relationship with Christ.
8. I didn’t leave a mess behind for others to clean up.
9. I served others as I wanted to be served.
10. I honored God in each of the five essential areas of life (as external evidence of an internal life).
Those five areas are spiritual, physical-health, family, work-career-financial, and social
You can play with those five things all you want but let’s get it in our hearts and minds that The Lord Jesus Christ wants you to be a well rounded individual. As Front Line men, we are here to help you keep both feet on the ground as you navigate life in these last days.
The more time you spend around godly men, the stronger you will be. You will develop leadership skills that develop from an eternal/internal source of the Holy Spirit. That is, it is as Jesus tells us that it is a well that springs up within!
