Pour Your Wisdom Upon Me Lord

Joshua 5:13–15 “And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.”
God is ready to fight for you. My prayer every morning is “Lord please fight every battle we face and allow us to meditate on your Word”.
I do not want to fight the battle knowing that y God can fight the battles I face and win.
It’s important to understand that the win is according to Gods will and not ours.
For example, Gardenia was on her way to work. And at the light her car stalled and she turned around and came back home. Car car started fine. She she decided to go to work and at the same light her car stalled again. She came back home. She called me and told me what happened. She tried going to work a different way. And this time she made it to work.
I believe the Lord might have stopped her from taking that route for a reason. But when she changed her rout she was able to make it no problem.
Although she was frustrated because she was going to be late to work. The Lord said no, I have to change your path.
Sometimes the Lord does things for us in which we do not understand.
But He fights those battles for us. The question is
Are you allowing God to be on your side?
Better question would be
Are you on God’s side?
Greater is He who is in you than he who is against you.
1 Samuel 8:1–6 “And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: they were judges in Beer-sheba. And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment. Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord.”
Make us a King to judge us..
What happened.
people start trusting in the world and people in the world and not our God.
What do you think of when you read that Israel was asking for a king.
In Joshua, Israel is ready. Joshua falls on his knees.
In Samuel, Israel is rejecting and replacing God for an earthly King.
What goes through your mind.
Keep that thought in your mind.
That is why my favorite verse has always been
Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.”
We are at another election cycle which is going to end in 3 days. and in the coming months we will find out that Kamala will be our next President.
How do you feel when I say that. What goes through your mind
Are you excited to hear that
Do you get mad, angry, anxious when you hear that.
Matthew 28:20 the second part of that verse says I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
Or Trump will be our next president.
What goes through your mind when I say that.
We are encouraged right. We get happy. Yes, Trump will win.
But if he does not. Then what.
John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you will ( shall) have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
We should not worry about the next President for the Lord puts Kings in places and removes Kings from places.
How many of you believe this.
But how many of you want to do Gods job, how many of you want to command God what to do?
How many of you are not sleeping, sweaty palms, heart beats up high, because the race is tight.
I encourage you to get on your hands and knees and pray.
The word says pray with out stopping. Day and night. Don’t fall asleep.
Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
You need to by gold because the dollar is going to crash. You need to buy food and store it because we will not be able to eat.
So many things you hear today. But remember the Lord is in control yes.
Do you believe that, really do you believe that?
Or do you want to believe it, but really don’t. That is why I said Kamala is taking the Presidency, you felt anxious, anger, mad.
How could you Boris.
But when I said Trump will be the next President. You felt encouraged.
Who si your encouragement.
Do you have circumstantial joy in your life.
I have all the joy in my life. Only and only when tings go my way.
Yes, if the red light stopped me well, that was God’s will.
But when you face various trails, true trials then where do you go. Is God your last stop.
Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary in while doing good: for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.”
We shall reap,
The King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Creator of heaven and earth, one who is outside of time. Who can at anytime end all with one word out of His mouth.
We need to pray that the Lord will be done in earth as it is in Heaven
Psalm 37:7 “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: Do not Fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.”
Rest in the Lord, we are ambassadors for Christ. We are not of this world. We belong to the creator of this world. He has us in the palm of His hand and He will never let go.
Psalm 62:8 “Trust in him at all times; you people, Pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. ”
Jeremiah 17:7–8 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green; and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Living water, if you drink of this water you will never thirst again but if you drink from the water of this well you will thirst again.
President Trump wins the election, and what happens in 48 months after he takes office. Will you begin to feel the way you fell now. Except now you do not have your Savior trump to save you.
We have to understand, things are not getting better but are getting worst. All we can do is get out and vote and allow God to do what He MUST do in order to move His agenda, His will forward.
Because remember His will be done in earth as it is in Heaven and not the other way around.
Please don’t let your bible lie around while you watch fox news, or CNN, or CNBC, MSNBC, or NewMax, or EPOCH times, or Tuker, Don Lemon, Charlie Kirk, or any other influencer out there.
Open your Bible, listen to Chuck Smith, Jack Hibs, Ray Loo, Art Reyes, Jeff Johnson, James Kaddis, or any other good bible teacher.
But most importantly listen to God through His word and prayer.
Are you trusting in the President or are you trusting in the Lord?
Are you putting your faith in the president or are you putting your faith in the Lord.
Are you talking t people about the President and what he has done, or are we talking about the Lord and what He has done?
Is the president your savior or is our Lord your savior.
Back to Joshua- The Lord is ready to fight for us.
But are we being like Israel in 1 samuel where we are demanding a King to judge us and rejecting our living God.
I asked at the beginning to Keep that thought in mind. Now I want to ask you.
Please don’t raise your hand.
But do you see any correlation between yourself and Israel in the book of Samuel.
Demanding a King
Demanding Trump or Kamala
Versus
His will be done.
I am not saying don’t vote. please get out and vote. But don’t be anxious.
in fact the Lord says be anxious for what?
NOTHING.
I’ll finish with the verses I started with
Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; And lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And He shall direct your paths.”
