What God can do?
Num 23:19-20
19 uGod is not a man, that he should lie;
Neither the son of man, that he should repent:
Hath he said, and shall he not do it?
Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and xhe hath blessed;
And I cannot reverse it.
BALAAM, SON OF BEOR (בִּלְעָם בֶּן־בְּע֗וֹר, bil'am ben-be'or). Son of Beor. A non-Israelite seer(one who is gifted at foreseeing future events through dreams or visions) whom the Moabites hire to curse the Israelites as they travel from Egypt to the promised land.

1 Sa 9:9
-Beforetime in Israel, when a man lwent to inquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called ma Seer.)
Biblical References to Balaam
Numbers 22–24
In Numbers 22–24, Balak, the king of Moab, hires the seer Balaam to curse the Israelites, but Balaam pronounces blessings from Yahweh instead.
Seeing the Israelites traveling toward his land, and knowing of their defeat of the Amorites, Balak fears that the Israelites will defeat the Moabites in battle and destroy their land, as well (Num 22:2–3). He sends representatives to Pethor to pay Balaam, a seer, to curse Israel (Num 22:4–6), indicating that Balaam had a reputation for being able to directly connect to the gods. Balaam insists that he must consult Yahweh, since he can only do what Yahweh says (Num 22:8, 18). Yahweh initially refuses to allow Balaam to curse Israel or go with Balak’s messengers (Num 22:12). He eventually allows Balaam to go with the men—but forbids him from cursing Israel (Num 22:14–20).
What God can do
As Balaam is traveling, God becomes angry and the angel of Yahweh blocks his path (Num 22:22). When Balaam’s donkey sees the angel and stops, Balaam—who cannot see the angel—beats her

23 And the ass saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way.
24 But the angel of the Lord stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.
25 And when the ass saw the angel of the Lord, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall: and he smote her again.
26 And the angel of the Lord went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.
27 And when the ass saw the angel of the Lord, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam’s anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff.
28 And the Lord uopened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three xtimes?
What God can do
29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.
30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, †upon which thou hast ridden ||ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.
What God can
Do
31 Then the Lord yopened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he zbowed down his head, and ||fell flat on his face.
32 And the angel of the Lord said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three xtimes? behold, I went out †to withstand thee, because thy way ais perverse before me:
33 And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three xtimes: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.
God is there for us fighting for us

We all have limitations, In what we can do and cannot do"when it comes to our abilities we can only do so much. But God has no limitations
Gen 18:14
14 oIs any thing too hard for the Lord? pAt the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
Jeremiah 32 : 27
27 Behold, I am the Lord, xthe God of all flesh: bis there any thing too hard for me?
Jeremiah 32: 17
17 Ah Lord God! behold, zthou hast made the heaven and the earth aby thy great power aand stretched out arm, and bthere is nothing ||too hard for thee:
Matthew 19:26
A rich man came to Jesus saying good master what good thing can I do to have eternal life? Jesus replies the only one is good it’s God !!”if you desire life keep the commandments
Don’t be a murderer, don’t commit adultery, don’t steal, don’t bear false witness , honour father and mother and love your
Neighbor as thyself. The rich man replied I have done that from my youth until now. Jesus answered if you want to be perfect (telios-aged,complete,man, perfect root TELOS - set point or goal) then take your riches and give to the poor. The rich man walked away sad.
Matthew 19:23-24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That ga rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 And hagain I say unto you, It is easier for a icamel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
26 But Jesus kbeheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but lwith God all things are possible.
Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have mforsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the nregeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, oye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, opjudging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 And every one that hath mforsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
The disciples replied than who can be saved
Matt 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, “with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Elijah God’s prophet that God uses to do the impossible
1 kings 17:1-7
Elijah told King Ahab that it will not rain until he would speak the word. So there was a famine in the land and God told Elijah to go to the brook called Cherith so that the ravens could feed him there. While at the brook Elijah is chillen enjoying the meals(bread and fish) the ravens brought him while sipping on the cool water from the brook “in the morning and evening”.ever thing was peachy for awhile. Then the unexpected happens the brook dries up because there had been no rain.
just put your self in Elijah’s place what would you do?
Think about
Not knowing where your next meal is going to come from the shade and the confort is gone. The feeling of safety is gone. Daddy is not there , Moma’s huge is not there” her voice telling you it going to be alright is not there.
What God can do
Elijah was instructed by God to go to Zarephat where I have commanded a widow woman to sustain you.
1Kings 17:8-16
The widow woman from Zarephath had a son, she was preparing to fix a meal to eat and die. The widow was gathering sticks to fix their last meal. While she was gathering the sticks Elijah met her and knew that this was the woman that God had chosen to sustain (provid) him”.
Elijah called the woman and asked her to get him a drink of water in a vessel. And as she was going he ask her to give him a piece of bread. She answered as the lord lives, I don’t have a cake prepared I just have a handful of meal in a barrel and a little oil in a cruse.
And I am gathering two sticks so I can make a cake for me and my son to eat and die.
Elijah told her fear not, go do as you as you said: just make me a little cake first. And after you do that fix it for you and your son.
What
God can do
14 - thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord †sendeth rain upon the earth.
15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat ||many days.
16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake †by Elijah

Elisah the prophet
2 Kings 6:5-7
The iron did swim
Another incident involving the company of the prophets follows. At one of their schools their accommodations had become inadequate because of the growing number of young men, a tribute to the effectiveness of Elisha’s ministry. This may have been the school at Jericho since the young men went to the nearby Jordan River for their wood. They intended to build new facilities at a new site there. Elisha gave his permission for this project and agreed to accompany the workmen.
4 So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.
5 But as one was felling a beam, the †axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas,
(a-haw experessing pain,”oh) master! for it was bborrowed.
6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And che cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.
7 Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.
2 kings 4:1-7
Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of athe sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and bthe creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.
3 Then he said, Go, cborrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; ||borrow not a few.
4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.
5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.
6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.
7 Then she came and told dthe man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy ||debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.
John 2:1-11
2:1 And athe third day there was a marriage in bCana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 And both Jesus was called, and chis disciples, to dthe marriage.
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
(Weddings lasted seven days, and hosts invited as many people as possible, especially distinguished guests like prominent teachers.
2:3. To run out of wine at a wedding was a social faux pas(embarrassing or tactless act) that would become the subject of jests for years; the host was responsible to provide his guests with adequate wine for seven days.)
4 Jesus saith unto her, eWoman, fwhat have I to do with thee? gmine hour is not yet come.
Woman” was a respectful address (like “Ma’am”) but hardly customary for one’s mother. Jesus’ statement here establishes polite distance (though “What have I to do with you” is usually a harsh, not a polite, expression in biblical language). Because Jesus’ “hour” in John refers especially to the cross, here Jesus is saying, “Once I begin doing miracles, I begin the road to the cross.”
5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of hthe purifying of the Jews, containing two or three ifirkins apiece.
7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9 When jthe ruler of the feast had tasted kthe water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have lwell drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in bCana of Galilee, and manifested forth (to render apparent, appear, manifestly, declare,[make] manifest (forth), shew (self).mhis glory; and his disciples believed on him.
This word miracles is say-mi-on , [root is say-mah-ee-no from Sema (a mark; of uncertain derivative ) ]to indicate ; signify. An indication, cerimonial or. Supernatural: miracle, sign, token, wonder
What God can do
Luke 17:11-19
11 And it came to pass, qas he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of rSamaria and sGalilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, twhich stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, uMaster, have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, xGo shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
(This was the second time in the Book of Luke that lepers were healed (cf. Luke 5:12-16 ). As in the former case, Jesus instructed the men to show themselves to the priests. On their way they were cleansed from the disease and were made ceremonially clean.) The Law (Lev. 13) commanded strict segregation of a person who had leprosy, for it was a graphic picture of uncleanness. A leprous person could not worship at the central sanctuary; he was ceremonially unclean and therefore cut off completely from the community.
According to the Mosaic Law one who was leprous was not to be touched by anyone who was ceremonially clean. When someone clean touched something unclean, the clean became unclean. Luke, in describing Jesus’ actions, showed that Jesus was the Source of ceremonial cleansing. If He was the Source of cleansing for that leper, He would also be the Source of ceremonial cleansing for the nation.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice yglorified God,
1 6 And zfell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a aSamaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this bstranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: cthy faith dhath made thee whole.
Mark10:46-52
46 eAnd they came to Jericho: and as he fwent out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, gblind hBartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
48 And many icharged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, kLord, that I might receive my sight.
52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; lthy faith hath ||mmade thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
