The walls where down

Every 1st Thursday of the Month we will have our Devotional and Prayer

This evening our Devotional will be on Nehemiah!!!

Facts:

Nehemiah 1:1–3 (ESV)

The words of Nehemiah the son of Hac-al-iah.

Now it happened in the month of Chis-lev, in the twentieth year, as I was in Susa the citadel, that Hanani, one of my brothers, came with certain men from Judah.

And I asked them concerning the Jews who escaped, who had survived the exile, and concerning Jerusalem. And they said to me,

“The remnant there in the province who had survived the exile is in great trouble and shame. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates are destroyed by fire.”

Nehemiah heard; That the Walls where in Ruins; He heard the conditions of Gods people

More than 90 years had the wall been broken down

The Babalonians took over gods people for 70 YEARS

a few people broke free and went back to their land

Nehemiah’s Hears the report on how the walls of Jeruslem and how they where in Ruin

We can see the Heart and the burden of Nehemiah

And he goes into prayer

Went into prayer; In the Month

Nehemiah Fasted for Nearly 4 months

In moments of Desperation, How easy can to get ahead of The Lord?

When the Puts a burden on our hearts he will give us what we need to forfill

Nehemiah Waited

The King seen how Nehemiah was down cast

The King was concerend, How Long, What he needed, and sent Nehemiah with Letters to cross Regins, and Material

Nehemiah Arrived safely

Nehemiah Used Wisdom when he Arrived to
