GREATER DIMENSIONS OF GRACE

SHORT TEACHING

Prevenient grace- Prevenient grace means to "come before or precede". This is the grace that is made available to us when the Father is drawing someone to Christ to receive salvation.

Justifying grace- When we become born again we are "saved by grace through faith". We receive justifying grace in that all our sins are washed away. We are made to be in right standing with God.

Sanctifying grace- During the sanctification process throughout our whole walk with Christ, we receive grace as we grow in holiness and walk in obedience. Denying our flesh and submitting to God.

Glorifying grace- Speaks of our resurrection but can also speak of a grace that we walk in as we walk out our "new creation identity" in Christ, in complete intimacy with the Holy Spirit. An example would be Enoch, who walked with God and was taken up. He was walking in glory. "As He is so are we in this world". QUESTIONS

Grace is multiplayered continually unfolding as we endure trials. Tell us of a time when grace noticablly increased on your life after going through a season of trial.

Luke 16:10 obedience unlocks greater grace on your life, faithful with little, trusted with much. Tell us of a time when you were obedient to God and saw grace increase on your life.

Presevererance grows grace, consistency is the key. Tell us of a time when you were persistent with something and what you saw follow after a period of time.

Grace can increase through impartation Philippians 1:7

Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
