James 4:1–2 ESV
1 What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? 2 You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask.
Most anger happens because you lose control.
People will tell you that to be a man, you have to unleash anger on people all the time.
Does anyone have a baby brother or sister?
How do they act when they get hungry?
When you get mad because someone will not do what you want them to do, thats all you are doing.
Throwing a tantrum like a little baby because they will not do what you want.
Did you know that the scariest person is not the most violent?
Its the one that can calmly talk things out.
Thats why lawyers are so scary. They can calmly talk their point through anything.
Does anyone have any good examples of talking things out with their friends or family instead of losing your temper?
What things did you do this week to be successful?
