Mysteries are meant to be unveiled and understood by those to whom they are revealed.

What are mysteries?

Something that is difficult or impossible to understand or explain

A religious belief based on divine revelation, especially one regarded as beyond human understanding.

These are the realities/truths kept in God and away from men until the right time.

Scripture verses:

Dominion of God: To the Lord, our God belong heaven and the heaven of heaven, the Earth with all that is in it in. (Deuteronomy 10:14).

Revelation: and to our children forever that we may do all the words of this law. (Deuteronomy 29:29).

Stewardship of mysteries: Only God reveals to men the mysteries (especially Apostle and Prophet, these are stewards of God’s mysteries - 1 Corinthians 4:1). (Ephesians 3:3, Daniel 2:29, Roman 16:25, 1 Corinthians 4:1).

Importance of understanding: Understanding the mysteries is important(1 Corinthians 13:2).

A list of mysteries in scriptures:

Mystery of end times and Jesus second coming. (1 Corinthians 15:51)

Number two, The mystery of Christ. (Ephesians 3:4, Colossians 4:3)

This is huge. How through Christ God accomplished so much.

Gentiles are fellow heirs and servants together with Christ. (Ephesians 3:6)

Christ and the church. (Ephesians 5:32)

Christ is our wisdom, sanctification and redemption. (1 Corinthians 1:30).

Christ is the Hope of glory in us. (Colossians 1:27)

Number three, The mystery of the gospel. (Ephesians 6:19)

Number four, The glory of the mystery Christ in us the gentles is the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27)

Number five, The mystery of lawlessness (defiant rejection of God’s law) also known as mystery of iniquity. (2 Thessalonians 2:7)

Must be a strange at all cost

Number six, The mystery of faith. (1 Timothy 3:9)

Can only be held by clear conscience

Number seven, The mystery of godliness. (1 Timothy 3:16)

Christ manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory. (this is a great mystery)

Number eight, The mystery of Babylon the great (Revelation 17:5, 7)

You meet the woman, the beast with seven heads and 10 horns that carries her)

Number nine, The mystery of God. (Revelation 10:7)

Mystery of God in Christ. (Colossians 2:2)

God holds the plan of the mystery. (Ephesians 3:9, Ephesians 1:9)

Mystery of the seven stars and the seven golden lamps. (Revelation 1:20)

Number 11, The mystery of God’s will. (Ephesians 2:9)

Mystery can be uttered in the spirit by speaking in a tongue. (1 Corinthians 14:2)

Number 12, The mystery of the fullness of the gentiles. (Romans 11:25).

Only possible by hardening Israel partially

Later, Israel would be accepted again by God

Daniel and the mysteries in hence number nine, which is the mystery of God.

Daniel was considered chief of magicians in Babylon because he could explain dreams. (Daniel 4:9)

That is God’s mystery revealed to me by God through man. (1 Corinthians 4:1), (Daniel 2:47)

God makes a revelation of mysteries available to clarify what God‘s plan and purpose is for His people. (Daniel 2:30) Also to clarify or give meaning to the thoughts of men. (Daniel 2:29) This may mean that God put thoughts in man whom he chose for a purpose. (Daniel 2:28)

Visions may be employed by God to reveal mysteries. (Daniel 2:19) After God of heaven gave a puzzle, parable, dream or mystery to a man the response proper is to seek messy from God of heaven.

Mysteries of Christ and the Church:

Mystery of Christ. - (Ephesians 3:4, Colossians 4:3)

Christ and the Church. - (Ephesians 5:32, Ephesians 5:2)

Christ as Wisdom, Sanctification, and Redemption. - (1 Corinthians 1:30)

Christ, the Hope of Glory. - (Colossians 1:27)

Mysteries of the Gospel and Faith:

Mystery of the Gospel. - (Ephesians 6:19)

Mystery of Faith. - (1 Timothy 3:9)

Mystery of Godliness. - (1 Timothy 3:16)

Mysteries of End Times and Divine Plans:

Mystery of End Times and Jesus' Second Coming. - (1 Corinthians 15:51)

Mysteries of Spiritual Realms and Prophecies:

Mystery of Babylon the Great. - (Revelation 17:5, 7)

God was in Christ Reconciling the world (The Man He created) to Himself. - (2 Corinthians 5:19)
