1. Chosen and Called

You are chosen and called to a meaningful purpose!

God calls you out of darkness so that you may be able to do His purpose as the mouthpieace to proclaim what Jesus has done great at the cross. and give you the priviledge as ROYAL PRIESTHOOD and HOLY PEOPLE & NATION. Why did God do that because He owns us.

1 Peter 2:9-10

You could explore how this passage highlights the identity of believers as a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. Emphasize that as saints, Christians have a new identity grounded in Christ that calls them to live differently. This identity brings a sense of purpose and duty to reflect God's light in a dark world. Discuss how this changes our daily interactions and encourages us to see ourselves through the lens of Christ's work.

In the early days of the church, Peter was just a fisherman with no leadership experience. Talk about an unexpected choice for a leader! God saw potential where others saw a simple fisherman. This shows that it doesn’t matter where we start; if we answer the call, God can turn us into remarkable instruments for His purpose. Who's ready to reel in that call?

Think back to when you were a kid, playing dress-up. You’d put on superhero costumes and felt invincible! Sometimes I think that’s how God sees us when He calls us. He knows the potential we have, even when we feel just like a kid in a costume. God equips us to serve Him in ways we cannot imagine!

Ever heard of Jonah? He tried to run away from God’s call! I like to joke that he must have thought God didn’t have GPS. But God’s calling found him anyway, in the belly of a huge fish! It’s a funny thought—if God wants us to do something, we might as well do it the easy way instead of the Jonah way!

2. Shine Through Struggles

Philippians 2:14-16

Perhaps talk about how this passage emphasizes the responsibility of saints to live blamelessly, shining as lights in the world. This reinforces the idea that being a saint involves practical, visible actions that reflect Christ's light. Encourage believers to rely on God's grace and strength to overcome personal struggles and embody this radiant life, thus standing out in a world of shadows.

3. Transform Through Truth

Ephesians 4:22-24

Maybe focus on Paul's message of putting off the old self and putting on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. This underscores the transformational journey of sanctification that each saint is on. Highlight the role of community and accountability in this process, reminding the congregation that they are not alone in their pursuit of holiness.

4. Purpose in Perfection

Romans 8:28-30

You could emphasize the assurance that all things work together for the good of those who love God. Here, the focus is on the ultimate purpose and hope for the saints, grounded in Christ's work. This perspective provides comfort and strength, especially in times of trial, reaffirming that believers are being shaped into Christ's image.
