The Son Of God Loved Me

John 3:16

“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Galatians 2:20 (NKJV)

The Apostle Paul wrote:

I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood, To every believer the promise of God; The vilest offender who truly believes, That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

Great things He has taught us, great things He has done, And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son; But purer and higher, and greater will be Our wonder, our rapture when Jesus we see.

PRAYER

Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

His relationship to His world

God so loved the world that he gave

He’s a giving God - to such an extent - such a manner His Son)

Loved Me

Yes, He loved the world

But it’s also more personal

The Son was given by the Father

The Son of God gave Himself

It’s individual - for me

And Gave Himself

Incarnation

Crucifixion

Glorification (resurrection/ascension) - present work

For Me
