Throughout the Scriptures, we see, repeatedly, the desire of God for us to be like Him, to love Him, and to come home to Him, one day, as saints.
The commandments of God were never and are never just there to make our lives onerous, but to give us a path amid the darkness and confusion of this world.
God desires us to be like Him and to become like Him - that is the purpose of our Christian Life, but it is not always - or ever - easy.
