Subject: Encouragement in This Election Season

Dear Light Way Church Family,

As we navigate this election season, I want to remind you that while there may be feelings of uncertainty or concern, we can rest assured that our God is sovereign. Scripture reminds us that He holds the hearts of leaders and kings (Proverbs 21:1), guiding all according to His divine purpose. Whatever the outcome, God's will is at work, bringing about His perfect plan.

We may feel deeply about the issues affecting the poor, the marginalized, and those in need of justice, but let us remember how God often uses the circumstances around us to fulfill His greater purposes. We may not always understand His ways, but we can trust that He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

Let’s come together in prayer, seeking His wisdom, peace, and assurance. Here are some scriptures to reflect on:

Proverbs 21:1 – “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.”Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”Daniel 2:21 – “He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.”Isaiah 55:8-9 – “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”Hebrews 13:5 – “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
