Please set everything aside as we come to God in Prayer this morning under the anointing and the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer for the Nations

Praying for India’s economic prosperity and humane work spaces.

We are praying for economic justice for all sections of society.

We are praying for India, for a just social order that is not marked by corruption, nor is weighted against the less privileged in society.

Praying for China, Asking God to guide their decisions in a way that promotes peace, stability, and prosperity for all citizens, and encourages greater respect for human rights and religious freedom.

Praying for Africa - Asking the lord to send consistent rain, for crops to grow and for people and livestock to drink in the Horn of Africa.

Heal the bodies of precious little ones who suffer from malnutrition, and strengthen the men and women who are working hard to return them to full health.

Heavenly Father have mercy upon them.

Father, I pray that you set their governments and organizations upon the solid rock of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Praying for People & Children around the world.

I pray for the wars with Russia & Ukraine, Israel & Hamas, I pray Lord for your comfort for those affected by these wars.

I Pray for the people of Gaza to be able to receive humanitarian relief so they wouldn’t have to experiencing starvation, and suffering.

We invite the Holy Spirit to join us this morning

BUILDING IN THE STORM

INTRODUCTION

Today we will explore the extraordinary lessons found in the story of Noah, recorded in Genesis 6-9.

In this story we find not only the construction of an ark, but also valuable lessons for our lives.

Noah, in the midst of chaos and unbelief, demonstrated remarkable faith by obeying the word of God.

Let us reflect on the inspiring lessons this narrative offers us. NOAH'S FIRST FAITH LESSON:

"GOD'S VISION AND CONTROL"

Genesis 6:5-8

1. Divine Omniscience: God sees all things, including the injustices and corruptions of humanity.

2. Attention to Our Struggles: Just as God saw Noah's situation, he is also attentive to the moments of our lives, to our struggles, joys and adversities.

Biblical Imagery (Sword) In Paul’s depiction of believers’ ongoing struggle with the forces of evil, he pictures the Word of God as a sword that functions as part of their protective armor (Eph 6:17).

3. Trust in Sovereignty: (sovl-ver- tee) We must trust that God is in control, even when we don't fully understand it.

Application:

Just as God saw Noah's situation, he is also attentive to the moments of our lives, our struggles, joys and adversities.

NOAH'S SECOND LESSON IN FAITH:

"THE EVIL DAY AND THE FRAGILITY OF OUR SECURITY"

Biblical Reference: Genesis 7:1

1. Justice shaken:

Noah, a righteous man, faced a flood that shook his security.

2. Human Fragility:

This story reminds us that our knowledge, resources and even our relationships do not prevent difficult days from coming.

3. Trust in Divine Justice:

We must trust in God's justice and faithfulness, even when the waters of life rise.

Application:

NOAH'S THIRD LESSON IN FAITH:

"THE IMPORTANCE OF OBEDIENCE IN THE MIDST OF ADVERSITY"

Biblical Reference: Genesis 6:22

1. Precise Obedience:

Noah obeyed God's precise instructions for building an ark, even in the face of ridicule from others.

2. Obedience in difficult times:

Highlights the importance of obedience in the midst of adversity.

Noah's faith not only saved him, but also his family.

3. Faith in action:

Obedience to God in difficult times can result in divine preservation and blessings.

Application:

Highlights the importance of obedience in the midst of adversity.

NOAH'S FORTH LESSON IN FAITH:

“DIVINE SURPRISES IN MOMENTS OF OBEDIENCE”

Biblical Reference: Genesis 6:22

1. Loyalty Rewarded:

Noah's obedience resulted in a divine surprise: the preservation of his family and all life in the ark.

2. Unexpected Blessings:

When we obey God in the midst of life's storms, we experience unexpected blessings and divine preservation.

3. God honors faithfulness:

Faithfulness to God is rewarded even in the most difficult situations.

Application:

NOAH'S FIFTH LESSON IN FAITH:

"THE COVENANT AND THE PROMISE OF HOPE"

Biblical Reference: Genesis 9:11

1. Establishment of the Covenant:

God established a covenant with Noah after the flood, promising never again to destroy the entire earth with water.

2. Promises of Hope:

Even after storms, God establishes alliances of hope in our lives.

3. Trust in Divine Promises:

We must trust in divine promises, as they are our anchor in the midst of adversity.

Application:

CONCLUSION

In this message we learn that, like Noah, our faith is tested in the midst of adversity.

Obedience to God leads us to divine surprises and preservation in times of storm.

May we apply these lessons to our lives, trusting in God's vision and control, even when we face bad days.

Amen.
