Twenty years ago, I would never have imagined all the places we’d go. We’ve traveled a world of miles, memories, and moments together—yet somehow, you’re still the one who always knows where I left my keys.
From biking through Central Park to revisiting pieces of my childhood in Winnipeg, you’ve made each journey unforgettable and brought me home in ways I never knew I needed.
I think that’s what you do best—bring everything to its rightful place. And somehow, that includes me.
You’ve taught me to believe in myself, even on the days when I didn’t see what you see in me.
I know I’ve changed a lot (and lost a bit of hair in the process), but you make me feel like that long-haired, slightly clueless guy you first met, the one who fell for your smile, your kindness, and, yes, your goofy charm when you’re nervous. Somehow, even when life got a little bumpy, you kept us steady.
And look at what we’ve created together—three beautiful children who are as much a mix of your grace as they are of my goofiness.
I may not have known exactly what I was doing, but with you by my side, I always knew I’d figure it out.
So, here’s my vow: I promise to keep traveling with you, whether it’s across the world or just down memory lane. I promise to love you with the same depth and devotion that I felt the first time we laughed together. And I promise that no matter where life takes us next—or how much more hair I lose—my love for you will always be the part of me that stays the same.
To the next twenty years of love, laughter, and maybe, if we’re lucky, another bike ride through Central Park.
