1 You Are Chosen
4 For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in love before him.
5 He predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
\ (ESV): “even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will.”
The Bible repeatedly affirms that God chose us even before the foundation of the world. This divine selection is not influenced by our earthly accomplishments or physical attributes. Instead, it’s based on God’s sovereign will and His unconditional love for us.
2 You Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
14 I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made. Your works are wondrous, and I know this very well.
(ESV): “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”
God intricately crafted every detail of our being. From our physical attributes to our personality traits, everything about us is fearfully and wonderfully made by God.
3 You Are a Child of God
Galatians 3:26
26 for through faith you are all sons of God in Christ Jesus.
(ESV): “for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.”
As believers in Christ, we are children of God. This spiritual adoption grants us direct access to God and makes us heirs to His promises.
4 You Are Loved
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 (ESV): “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
God’s love for us is unconditional and infinite. No matter what we go through, nothing can separate us from His love.
5 You Are Forgiven
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 (ESV): “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
In Christ, we are forgiven. God’s grace covers all our past, present, and future sins.
6 You Are a Representative of Christ
20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God.”
2 Corinthians 5:20 (ESV): “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”
As Christians, we are ambassadors for Christ. God has called us to represent Him in this world, sharing His love and truth with others.
7 You Are Victorious
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
1 Corinthians 15:57 (ESV): “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Although we face trials and tribulations in this world, we are not defeated. Through Christ, we are victorious.
We are heirs with Christ
EPH 1.14 The Holy Spirit is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of the possession, to the praise of his glory.
