If we had to guess whats one thing that jesus preach most people would not be able to say it, we would say

love your neighbor

Jesus Begins His Ministry

Mt 4:12–17.

12 Now when he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee. 13 And leaving Nazareth he went and lived in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali, 14 so that what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:

15  “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,

the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles—

16  the people dwelling in darkness

have seen a great light,

and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death,

on them a light has dawned.”

17 From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Jesus Only had one message

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

John the Baptist’s message was focused on **preparing** people for the coming Kingdom.

He announced that it was *near*, calling people to repentance in anticipation of the Messiah (Matthew 3:2).

John's role was to pave the way for Jesus, setting the stage for what was about to come.

When Jesus began his ministry, he declared that the Kingdom of God was not just near but already **present** in him.

In Luke 17:21, Jesus told people, *“The Kingdom of God is in your midst,”* indicating that through him, the Kingdom had broken into the world.

His teachings, miracles, and the presence of the Holy Spirit demonstrated that the Kingdom was now active and available.

So, while John pointed to a Kingdom that was on the way, Jesus revealed that the Kingdom had arrived.

How many time did jesus talk or refer to the kingdom of God?

126 Times in the Gospels.

34 in the rest of the New Testament.

He speaks on love close to 50.

That all the things that we usually cherry pick.

What is The Kingdom Of God?

In ancient times, Gospel was a military term used to proclaim a victory or the ascension of a new ruler. A messenger would run to the capital to announce the message to the people.

There is a reality in where Gods will is done.

and systems and people move according to his will and his directrion

a lot of times we refer to it heaven , but it is more than that

if God is in charge how can he have allowed this person to hurt me

The announcement that Jesus make declares the the will of the king has now come to invade and take territory

he would used stories to explain bits and pieces of what the kingdom looked like

The Purpose of the Parables

10 Then the disciples came and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” 11 And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

What was the difference between the others and the diciiples?

they had skin in the game

the secrets of the KOG are for beilivers

The people who follow him have the right to the secrects

The Parable of the Sower

4 And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, 6 but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away. 7 Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. 8 Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears, let him hear.”

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path.

The kingdom of god isn’t something you need to pray about or wonder about. Its literally in the bible
