Love Is Patient

I have to get a flashing red light so I know it's my turn.

Document. I've been thinking and sharing about love, but count. Once every one of the things that comes to mind is so wedding, ceremonies in the strange ones in the fifty years, that I've been in Ministry. Are you Spencer one-time? So, we have it going there to tell me about her wedding plans, all this kind of stuff, and then just stopped very long to the wedding at all. I went in and she said, big big, big problem, really discouraged. We found that it's going to cost $2,000 to get the wedding, to get the application to have the wedding file to pay the efficient, all those kind of situation. So she should not sit. Well, let me just married at the airport before your flight down there. Would you sure the wedding party gets ready to get onto the airplane and we just did in a big circle out there. A lot of the people that were going to fly joined us yet I'll just came over to drive around, you know, the the girls had flowers and I told her watching you now, you'll have to be married on this day and then you can celebrate the next day if you want to the strange part of that story is I done that two more times for the two Bridesmaids.

Because when they plan their destination wedding, they said I'm not going to pay for it all that. Again, I can pay $5 to the airport and we're here from Spotify. As well. Just do that sir.

When I first started doing weddings and I was looking at it this week, you know what, your wedding presentations, kind of evolved over time, there's a key element that I use over and over again but I used to use this one. There's no surprise more magical than the surprise of being loved. It is God's finger on a man's shoulder. And I stopped using that but I'm putting it back because he's such a powerful moment. It's such a powerful thought when we have the experience of loving and being loved and experiencing love, it literally is like God reach out. We just got in touch as with something that's very good and very wonderful. Now that can be misused in there certain situations where that takes place

Love we talking about working relationships. We talkin about friendships. The answer is, yes, that's one of the Beauties about 1st Corinthians 13. It keeps no record of wrongs love, does not envy love does not Delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth, It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. And I like 4 a.m. this morning to focus on simply verse for patient. Kind does not envy, does not boast is not proud. Love is patient. Anybody here want to be more patient. Are you afraid to almost to say that? I want the patient vaccination, you know, we're God's is okay, here's the shot. Now you are patient or take your the lid off your brain, and squirts of that patients in their God has this real cumbersome plenty in for being patient. And that's he puts us in situations where we can develop patience. I don't want to do it that way. That's hard and it's frustrating, and it's very disappointing, and people can give you some real challenges it in that kind of circumstances. And it would be just wonderful. If we had this miraculous patients that God just bestowed upon us. But it doesn't work that way. We are day-by-day step-by-step, moment-by-moment giving me the opportunity to either exercise or ignore. The patient's that's connected to love. Boy, sometimes those circumstances are difficult, sometimes your day has been long sometimes. You're frustrated do to your Wit's End. All kinds of circumstances and we'll talk more about that next week, but it becomes a challenge to say, okay. Patient with my children, patient, with my spouse patient with my co-workers patient. With those people that I have friendly loving relationships with you, sometimes frustrate me off or want just a little more than I'm willing to give her all kinds of things. And Paul is telling these Brethren at Corinth be patient with one another none of us is perfect and we require the patient's of other people. And when we go down that road is through that process. We bring ourselves to a place where we're stronger and having those relationships Ephesians 4:2. Does be completely humble, and gentle be patient. Bearing with one another in love forbearing. Are those things

as you think about that, made pops into your mind to the issue of those moments, when you damaged our relationship by not being patient,

Just an instant, just an instant can harm a relationship when we fail to practice patience. Now, that doesn't mean that they can't be recovered, that doesn't mean that we can't make it better. Sometimes though we don't have the opportunity to do that, it's just a fleeting moment. And it probably all of us have those times. We just sit down and I hadn't done that.

I didn't want to call hurt. Paul says, secondly, secondly be kind. Little girl prayed the prayer. Dear Lord. Please make the bad people, good. And the good people, nice.

I'm guessing that somewhere along the line. She had watched or overheard the adults who were supposed to be good. Nice people not being very kind in the way they were interacting or dealing with others. Yeah, when your personality is one that wants to be nice, it kind of opens your whole perspective to the world. My father-in-law, Jack stamps.

Time is give us the opportunity to demonstrate that we like to share with other people.

Galatians 5, 2223. That we all know many things. There is no law except the opportunity.

Being kind. Are you going to the grocery store and go to the bank about doing that? Now, this is research shows that the people we love the most are the people wear, the least kind. As a society. We know, we have to be nice to the people at work.

To really be that kind of time for some and there's a huge, huge God wants us to share with each other.
