They remind us that our choices have consequences, not just for us, but for our children and our children's children.1.A Decision of Eternal SignificanceFirstly, we need to understand who God is.Saint Augustine said, "God is always trying to give good things to us, but our hands are too full to receive them."Secondly, we need to understand what it means to choose God.Finally, we need to understand the consequences of our choice.
2.Choosing God: A Decision of a Lifetime Firstly, choosing God is a personal decision.Secondly, choosing God is a daily decision. It's not a once-and-done deal.Thirdly, choosing God is a transformative decision.fourth point: choosing God is an exclusive decisionLastly, choosing God is a rewarding decision.
3.Choosing God: A Journey of Commitment and Conviction. The first thing we need to understand is that choosing God is not a passive act.The second thing we need to understand is that choosing God is not a private act.A.W. Tozer once said, "The most important thing about a man is not where he is at any given time, but in what direction he is moving." The third thing we need to understand is that choosing God is not a pointless act.
