Correction

Ephesians 6:4 ESV
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
List of issues (late, communication)
This cannot happen at large events (1-2k people)
If we didn’t get extra time at the church (1.5 hours extra) we would never have gotten everything done on time.
Vision moving forward (firm on in person meetings, firm timely arrival, and screening for volunteers ( would rather have less ahead of time then need to put more on certain people last minute).

FATHERHOOD/SONSHIP and FAMILIARITY

What does having a spiritual Father and being a spiritual son or daughter look like?

1 Corinthians 4:17 NKJV
For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.
Philippians 2:22 NKJV
But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel.
2 Timothy 3:10–11 NKJV
But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.
Hebrews 13:17 NKJV
Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.
A spiritual father is not just choosing to listen to someone’s teachings over another’s. It is someone you join hands with.
A spiritual father is someone you are faithful and loyal to.
When someone is your spiritual father you align with their doctrinal teachings (unless 2 are agreed that cannot walk together).
You align with the vision that God has given to them.
You imitate and learn from them, carrying their spiritual DNA. You carry the impartation they have given you and become an extension of them to others.
Someone you serve and submit to.

What does this look like?

When you become a spiritual son/daughter you become an extension of your spiritual father and ultimately an extension of Father God.
That person is the voice of God in your life.
When we submit to authority and honour well, God’s approval comes upon us.
You embody what they and ultimately Father God represents.

How does this apply to the issues in the hub?

I am an extension of Apostle Daniel.
When you dishonour me you dishonour him and ultimately God.
Familiarity
If Apostle was going to have a 1 on 1 meeting with you would you be late? Would you forget? It shows your priorities.
When you become familiar with me you become familiar with Apostle. I embody his vision.
Isaiah 29:13 NKJV
Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,
Deuteronomy 28:47 NKJV
“Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything,
People become familiar when they take for granted what they have.
My example of how serious I was
What you don’t honour (highly esteem) is what you become familiar with. This opens a door to rebellion.
Familiarity is pride and God resists the proud. Pride leads to rebellion which brings in the spirit of witchcraft.
Delayed obedience is disobedience

What we need to examine our hearts for.

Rebellion and witchcraft
Jezebel
Control and manipulation
Self pity

WHAT IS A LEADER?

Matthew 20:25–28 NKJV
But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Luke 22:24–27 ESV
A dispute also arose among them, as to which of them was to be regarded as the greatest. And he said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors. But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves. For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the one who serves.
Becoming a leader is becoming a servant of many and giving up your life for the lives of others.
I have never gotten a prophetic word from Apostle, have rarely received prayer etc. My job is to serve.
If you want to be in closer proximity to certain people, it will require that you lay down your life.
The higher you go in position the lower you have to go.
It is not glamoris, it is sacrifice.
Do not get certified if you do not know who your spiritual father is.
