The Blessings that await us
1 Peter 1:4
*I. We must be patient and wait for them, for they are not of this world.
*αφθαρτον
αφθαρτον A. They are heavenly we are earthly.
B. they are incorruptible we are corruptible.
C. They compliment our future glorified state.
*II. We should encourage ourselves with the knowledge that they are pure and sanctified.
*αμιαντον
αμιαντον A. Christ is undefiled . (Heb. 7:26)
B. Pure religion is undefiled. (James 1:27)
C. The marriage bed is undefiled. (Heb.13:4)
*III. Our joy is heightened by it’s unfading ness.
*αμαραντον
αμαραντον /The flower fades but the Word of our God never fades.The Writing on the grave fades but our salvation never fades.
