This Sunday, we return to John 3 and Jesus’s conversation with Nicodemus. Though Nicodemus lacked the new birth, Jesus does not end the conversation with him. Though Nicodemus struggled to believe what Jesus had told him, Jesus continues to lay before him the way of salvation. Nicodemus is full of doubt. Jesus is patient with him. As the episode unfolds, we see that Jesus himself is the only hope for this very religious, though very lost, man.
