Do we feel victorious in our walk or do we feel like we are just surviving just swimming with our heads above the water are we battered bruised do we truly know who we are in Christ are we living every day full of victory or have we just relegated ourselves and decided and say i’m saved i’ve got salvation i’m forgiven that s my lot. today i want to not only take you on a journey through gods Word but equip you with some keys to help you open up that door of victorious living in Christ, I’m going to quote a lot of scripture this is to build a foundation the Word of god is a sword a mirror a hammer and bread and light, it isn’t going to be easy to accomplish, God never promises us a easy life, in fact many of the mighty in the bible had hardships when you think of the apostle Paul he was
beaten stoned starved imprisonments shipwrecked and he had physical illness that he asked the Lord to remove and ultimately he was beheaded but didnt paul say in
Romans 8:36–37 NLT
36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
Romans 8:36–39 ESV
36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 11:23–25 ESV
23 Are they servants of Christ? I am a better one—I am talking like a madman—with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and often near death. 24 Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the forty lashes less one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea;
thats just one individual in the bible King David had despair to the point he wanted to die
Psalm 13:2–3 ESV
2 How long must I take counsel in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? 3 Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,
how each of the Apostles died

James, son of Zebedee - Beheaded
John - Boiled in oil, but when that failed he was exiled for his faith; died of old age
Judas (not Iscariot) - Stoned to death
Matthew - speared to death
Peter - Crucified upside down
Philip - Crucified
Simon - Crucified
Thomas - Speared to death
Matthias - Stoned to death
they went from fear to A BOLDNESS that resonates 2000 years later a victory that as basically caused the biggest impact ever imaginable on the face of the earth, there are many examples we could look at that are in Gods Word if time allowed but we will move on
how do we as followers of Christ live in Victory not on an occasional basis but on a daily basis
how do we develop an attitude of victory its not a mind thing its not a heart thing its your whole being we commune with Jesus something happens below the scale of an atom so small so minute Quantum mechanics is a fundamental theory that describes the behaviour of nature at and below the scale of atoms quantum entanglement Quantum entanglement is a phenomenon in quantum mechanics where two or more particles are connected in such a way that the state of one particle is dependent on the state of the other, even if they are separated by large distances and that distance could be light years
Romans 1:20 ESV
20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
1 Corinthians 15:57 NLT
57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
The literal translation of 1 Corinthians 15:57 is, “But thanks be to God who keeps on giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” We experience “the power of His resurrection” in our lives as we yield to Him
Philippians 3:10 ESV
that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
Victorious Christian living is certainly impossible for us in our own strength. Left to ourselves, we will remain defeated. But there’s good news for the true follower of Christ. Jesus said, “The things impossible with men are possible with God”
Luke 18:27 ESV
27 But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
Remember: you are not fighting for victory, but from victory, for Jesus Christ has already defeated Satan!
Colossians 2:14–15 NLT
14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.
1 John 5:4 ESV
4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

The Strategy of Satan Chapter Five: Living by Faith in God

Everybody in this world lives by faith. The difference between the Christian and the unconverted person is not the fact of faith, but the object of faith. The unsaved person trusts himself and other humans; the Christian trusts God. It is your faith in God that is the secret of victory

Proverbs 21:31 ESV
31 The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.
“Work out your own salvation” does not mean “work for your own salvation.” Salvation is a free gift, purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. To “work out your own salvation” means to bring your Christian life to completion, to accomplish in character and conduct what God has planned for you. The Greek word means “to carry out to the goal, to bring to the ultimate conclusion.” God has a definite plan for each life, and we must cooperate with him in fulfilling that plan.
According to
Ephesians 2:8–10 ESV
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:8–10 ESV
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
there are three “works” involved in the Christian life:
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
The first work that Paul names is salvationthe work that God does for you. This work was completed by Jesus Christ on the cross.
“I have glorified Thee on the earth, having accomplished the work which Thou hast given Me to do.” John 17:4
When Jesus therefore had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head, and gave up His spirit. John 19:30
But He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God. Hebrews 10:12

Everything else that God does in your life is based on this finished work of Christ.

The second work is sanctification—the work that God does in you. Salvation is but the beginning; it must be followed by spiritual growth and development.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 3:18 ESV
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
This leads to the third work—service,
the work that God does through you. God works in you that he might work through you and accomplish the tasks that he has already prepared for you. It is not necessary for us to manufacture things to do for God; he already has a perfect plan for our lives and special works that he wants us to fulfill for his glory.
How does God work in us? Through his Holy Spirit. But what must we do to enable the Spirit of God to work in us? The answer to that question is found in two of the most familiar verses in the Bible—
Romans 12:1–2 NKJV
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Salvation Sanctification Service
I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. romans 12 1-2

2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV 1900
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
its all about perception sometimes you

We have to Remember we are the Victors not the Victims

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
