Do Dogs go to Heaven, YES!

When God finished creating the earth and all of the things in them, including vegetation and animals, he said that saw everything he had made and it was good.
Genesis 1:31 ESV
31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
In God’s perfect creation he commanded Adam to have dominion over all the animals.
Genesis 1:28 ESV
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
In the perfect world that God created even before Eve was created God had given Adam the animals to keep him companion. There was a relationship that he had with those animals. He was tasked to name them and even train them. Adam had the most pets on earth per say.
Genesis 2:18 ESV
18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”
He was going to find a helper more fit for him. Meaning the animals did not fulfill a deeper sense of relationship, he maybe saw them multiplying and he would yearn for something like that.
But this doesn’t mean he didn’t have a deep and close relationship with his animals.
God’s creation groans because of sin, but God’s plan has been to restore his creation, restore man, and create a new heaven and new earth.
Romans 8:19–23 ESV
19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. 23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
What will this restored heaven and earth look like? Isaiah gives us a glimpse and he gives us an example of a wolf and a lamb.
Isaiah 11:6–9 ESV
6 The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den. 9 They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
The question of whether animals have souls. Scripture is clear that they do.
Psalm 74:19 ESV
19 Do not deliver the soul of your dove to the wild beasts; do not forget the life of your poor forever.
Job 12:10 ESV
10 In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.
Revelation 5:13 ESV
13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”

Where in the Bible does it say when we go to heaven, we will be working for God’s Kingdom (As a Job/ Work)?

Work has always been a good thing. But because of the fall, work has become burdensome and difficult.
When we ask these type of questions we need to think of new creation. God has a place prepared for us where we will be in his presence and we will worship and serve him.
Genesis gives us a good format of what we might be doing in heaven. But there is for sure one thing that we will be working. What those jobs might be, we don’t know. But we will not feel bad about doing it and we will feel fulfilled because we are doing it for Christ.
Revelation 22:3 ESV
3 No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.

What is hell? Do good people get as bad punishments in hell as the bad would. Like will Ghandi get equal punishment as Hitler? (Elias)

Hell is eternal punishment for sinners. The old testament sheol was considered hell. Hades in the new testament was also a word used to describe hell.
gahena greek word - lake of fire. Punished and tormented.
Passages that describe hell.
Mark 9:43 ESV
43 And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire.
Matthew 5:22 ESV
22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.
Matthew 25:41 ESV
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
Matthew 8:12 ESV
12 while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Hell has been prepared for those who have rejected God and the gospel. There is only one way to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ.
On the day Jesus returns he will resurrect the believers and the unbelievers. We will be given a new body, and eternal body. In this new body you can’t “die”. People in heaven and hell will have full consciousness and have all of their senses working.
In hell there will be eternal pain and tears, and in heaven we will not shed tears anymore. In heaven there will be peace, and in hell there will be torment. There will not be any peace.
Acts 24:15 ESV
15 having a hope in God, which these men themselves accept, that there will be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust.
John 5:28–29 ESV
28 Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
Matthew 10:28 ESV
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Jesus said something that definitely gives us a glimpse of what hell is like. He will punish on the basis of how much has been revealed to you. The answer is yes. There will be different punishments for different people depending on their revelation. What these punishments will be we don’t know.
Matthew 11:20–24 ESV
20 Then he began to denounce the cities where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent. 21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I tell you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to Hades. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 But I tell you that it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you.”
The same will follow with rewards in heaven. Believers will have different rewards. Some who have been faithful with more will receive a greater reward. But this should not be something to aspire for. Our greatest reward will be Christ and communion with him for an eternity.
1 Corinthians 3:14 ESV
14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.
So will hitler have a heavier punishment than Ghandi? I believe not. Ghandi will have a greater punishment. He knew more about the bible and who jesus was. But he willingly sinned and lead millions of people astray.
Final thoughts about hell. This is a real place.
On his deathbed, Anton LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan, said: “Oh my, oh my, what have I done! There’s something very wrong, there’s something very wrong, there’s something very wrong!”
Repent and be saved by Jesus from this place of torment! This is why we share the gospel because this is a real place and it is a place reserved for unbelievers and people who reject the gospel.
