Peace with God

Jesus' first coming established peace between God and sinful humanity. Through His sacrificial death on the cross, Jesus reconciled us to God, turning former enemies into beloved children.

This peace is available to anyone who trusts in Jesus for salvation, as

Romans 5:1 states, "Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Peace with God: As a result of justification, believers now have peace with God.

This peace signifies:

· Making up with God: Before, our sins made us enemies with God. Now, we're friends again.

· A fresh start with God: We used to be far away from God, like strangers. Now, we're close to Him, like family.

· Feeling calm and loved by God: We can relax, knowing God cares for us and is happy with us.

Present Reality: The peace described is not just a future hope but a present reality for those who have been justified

Inner Peace

Believers can experience inner peace through their relationship with Christ, even amidst difficult circumstances. Jesus promised His disciples, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. This peace transcends human understanding and guards the hearts and minds of believers

John 14:27

The verse has two parts:

Offering: Jesus offers a peace that is different from the peace the world offers.

Invitation: Jesus invites people to let their hearts be at peace with him

Peace in Community

Christ's teachings encourage peace among His followers. Believers are called to live at peace with others as much as possible, fostering unity within the body of Christ. The fruit of the Spirit, which includes peace, should be evident in the lives of those who walk with God's Spirit
