The Priorities in Life
I. Jesus’s priority is to do the will of the Father. (vv.34) cf. John 5:30, John 6:38. (vv.31-34)
to accomplish the Work (life, death, and resurrection)
II. The Christian’s priority is to be participate in the work of God (vv. 35-38). Jesus sent the disciples to preach the Gospel because the field is ready for harvest.
God intends to allow man to participate in the reaping so he can rejoice what God has done! The sowers and gathers rejoice together!
God has started sowing the seed of the Gospel in the hearts of the people - we his followers are to reap.
To be active in God’s work is one thing; to be effective in God’s work is another.

My relationship with God
My relationship with God will produce a godly attitude. You will now care and love others the way God cares and loves you.
My relationship with God will enable me to see that this world is not my home and therefore I will not put all my energy to gain material things.
Instead I will put my energy and strength to gain spiritual and eternal treasures.
Reflection:
Is it a priority for you to spend time with Jesus in prayer?
Is it a priority for your tell people about Jesus?
