Introduction:

Each year we rethink the miracle of God, Emmanuel.

Luke give us the most of birth, especially the before and after of the birth of Christ

a. The census, the conception, the manger, the angels, the shepherds, the wisemen, the king Herod, the growth of Christ, etc

b. The Babe and yet far immeasurable more!!

3. The manger is gone, the stables is gone, but the message remains, and will remain! PTL

I. The Saviours Humanity: Luke 2:11 “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

Note: Matthew 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

A. God and humanity met 1 Timothy 1:15 “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”

B. Time, Galatians 4:4 “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,” ( fullness, the basket was full, my cup runneth over...”). Ps23:5

2. “All sin will be placed on Him but No sin in Him!!”

3. His humanity, we know He relates to us, hunger, sorrows, betrayal, love, compassion, thirst, shame, humiliation, temptation, etc

II. The Sons Poverty: Luke 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

A. Manger - in Marry s condition a stables

People should have made room.

Still say this today! (society is selfish, self centered, blind to miracle in front of them.

Each time someone says no, he is the Inn Keeper, will kick himself some day the same way! (what kind of dumb, idiotic, lamebrain thing i said.”)

B. The depraved world unaware of one of the greatest event ever to Happen in all History!!

No great festival, no great fanfare, no big commotion!!

No government or religious welcoming.

III. The Sinners Opportunity: Luke 2:11,16 “And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.”

A. Accessible, approachable… not not be the inn keeper in life

B. Available

C. Admirable (God with us). Matthew 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
