Double Blessed

Commit = Do, Bring About, Practice, Work, Labor, Accomplish and Make Happen.
In order to receive what God has ordained for you, there must be an elevation in your level of commitment, which requires obedience to His Word!
God gave instructions on what is required, before they were brought out of Egypt!
You know the story of Moses, but do we see the revelation in the story of Moses?
Joseph had transitioned and the new king of Egypt did not know him and The Favor that God had upon him and his family!
Remember, the new king feared the people because they were multiplying and he set a decree to murder the firstborn sons, as he thought it would hinder their growth!
Notice how the enemy attempted to work undercover, instructing the Midwives to murder the Hebrew firstborn children - Exodus 1:15–16 “15 Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrah and the name of the other Puah; 16 and he said, “When you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live.””
Regardless of what the enemy says, even though it may be the decree of the leader, their word ought to never reign above The Word of God!
Whatever God has instructed you to do, it does not matter what it looks like, or what you feel - “The Fear of The Lord is the beginning of knowledge, fools despise wisdom and instructions. . .”
Serving God is greater than losing your life - Acts 21:13 “13 Then Paul answered, “What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.””
As long as God gets all The Glory - It does not matter what happens to me!
The reason Moses lived was because of the Midwives’ commitment to The Lord!
When I read these few verses in Exodus, if you catch it - then I won’t have to preach on. . .
Exodus 1:17–21 “17 But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive. 18 So the king of Egypt called for the midwives and said to them, “Why have you done this thing, and saved the male children alive?” 19 And the midwives said to Pharaoh, “Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women; for they are lively and give birth before the midwives come to them.” 20 Therefore God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied and grew very mighty. 21 And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.”
When you commit your way to The Lord Psalm 37:5 “5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
God will provide for you, even in the midst of chaos - God will show you that He is with you and never leaves you!
Notice, when Moses’ mother put him in the river, there was an Angel walking along side of him, watching him - Exodus 2:4–8“4 And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him. 5 Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river. And her maidens walked along the riverside; and when she saw the ark among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it. 6 And when she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.” 7 Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you?” 8 And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Go.” So the maiden went and called the child’s mother.
Y’all did not catch it!
You may be wandering and it seems as if you are alone, but God is walking with you, watching you and when you meet destiny, God comes in and Turns Around what was intended to kill you!
Even in the midst of death, God keeps you through it!
Even in the midst of calamity, fear, evilness all around - God is still there!
Moses Mother, because she obviously trusted God in all her ways, was able to nurse, and rear her son as she desired to do. . . She was not caught up in her feelings of what was the decree, she trusted God and did what The Spirit of God instructed her to do - I know your Bible does not say this, but who else would have told her to put her child in the river where there were dead male children floating? It seems to be crazy, but God uses what the enemy meant for evil, for her good!
God created Moses for this moment and He gave Moses instructions to give to the people, yet they moaned and groaned. . .
The reason why many of us miss God - Because God uses man to move His Word across the land!
And when what The Man or Woman of God proclaims what Thus Says The Lord and it does not align with your perception, or your feelings, or what you want to hear, then you have allow your thinking, to disrupt your hope/faith and now you waver at The Truth and have essentially tuned out the Voice Of God!
Exodus 14:10–12 “10 And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. 11 Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? 12 Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.””
Pastor, you have us in Deuteronomy 28:1-8 how does this relate to the topic: I Am All The Way In!
Deuteronomy 28:1–8 NKJV
1 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God: 3 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. 4 “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. 5 “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. 6 “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. 7 “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. 8 “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
I had to give you the story before The Glory!
The enemy attempted to eradicate the first, but God came in and took what the enemy intended for evil, and turned it for The Good!
God established His Law of The First - And what this does is redeem what the enemy attempted to take away - Exodus 13:11-16
Exodus 13:11–16 NKJV
11 “And it shall be, when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as He swore to you and your fathers, and gives it to you, 12 that you shall set apart to the Lord all that open the womb, that is, every firstborn that comes from an animal which you have; the males shall be the Lord’s. 13 But every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. And all the firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem. 14 So it shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ that you shall say to him, ‘By strength of hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast. Therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all males that open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’ 16 It shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets between your eyes, for by strength of hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.”
We forget what God has done because many have not set up a memorial of what He brought us out of! Too often we get drunk from The Victory, and become stagnant because we think that is it! But God says that He can do exceedingly abundantly, above all that we can ask or think!
So this is not all that He is going to do! The story continues!
God wants your first becasue it is a memorial for remembrance that reminds you - if it had not been for The Hand Of The Lord by Strength, I would still be bound up!
And for The Goodness of God, we ought to give Him our best, not our left-overs - Because He did not just bring me out, He brought me all the way out - That is why I am All The Way In!
Ain’t no half stepping for me - He says to go in and possess it - I must obey! You can’t get to the Glory without having a story!
