Theme: God’s Love in Sending His Son Main Points:
God’s Sacrificial Love (v. 16):
“For God so loved the world…” – Explain the depth of God’s love in sending His only Son for humanity’s salvation.
Contrast worldly love with God’s selfless, sacrificial love.
The Purpose of Jesus’ Coming (v. 17):
Jesus came not to condemn, but to save. Emphasize the incredible love that brings salvation rather than judgment.
God’s love is proactive and redemptive, offering everyone a chance to be reconciled.
Application: Challenge the congregation to share this love by living sacrificially, showing God’s love in tangible ways to others during Advent and beyond.
