The Joy Of Hearing The Gospel [Luke 1:39-45]

A. Mary’s Immediate and Joyful Response (vv. 39-40)

B. Elizabeth's Joyful Response (vv. 41-44).

C. Mary is described as “blessed” because she has “believed” (v. 42, 45).

Big Idea: We become more joyful Christians when we hear the proclamation of the Gospel of Salvation.

Applications

1. The Gospel call for us should be responded joyfully even if it makes our lives harder in this momentary life.

2. If you are a genuine christian, you are neither spiritully deaf, nor spiritually blind. Because, when God reveal His Gospel to you, it does make your dead life alive in Christ, it makes you believe Him, and makes you savor the beauty of His glory.

1. How do our lives identify with God’s great redemptive work of the past? How does this help us understand our role in God’s ongoing story of redemption?

2. Have you discovered what role God is giving you to proclaim His plan to redeem the worldnthrough you? What can you do to devote yourself to that calling?

3. Who has God placed in your life to reinforce and confirm His plan and call for you?
