Scripture: Galatians 3:10
Scripture: Galatians 3:10
Oh, foolish Galatians! Who has cast an evil spell on you? For the meaning of Jesus Christ’s death was made as clear to you as if you had seen a picture of his death on the cross. 2 Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the Holy Spirit by obeying the law of Moses? Of course not! You received the Spirit because you believed the message you heard about Christ. 3 How foolish can you be? After starting your new lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort? 4 Have you experienced so much for nothing? Surely it was not in vain, was it? 5 I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. 6 In the same way, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” 7 The real children of Abraham, then, are those who put their faith in God. 8 What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would make the Gentiles right in his sight because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said, “All nations will be blessed through you.” 9 So all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith.
10 But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.” 11 So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” 12 This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says, “It is through obeying the law that a person has life.” 13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 14 Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.

The Data and Information
The Data and Information
Accoring to Lifeway in a gentleman by the name of Aaron Earls from Southern Baptist Texan, an article entitled, “Lifeway study reveals Americans’ theological beliefs continue to shift post-pandemic”, Earl had some really interesting findings.
Some of the things that stuck out to me was only 51% of people believe the Bible is 100% accurate and 53% don’t even believe the Bible is accurate; 66% of the professing Christians believe that Christian account is completely accurate.
The Big Confusion
In this post-pandemic society we live in today, according to the idea and perception of God and His word has created a lot of confusion in the Body about who not only the Holy Spirit is, but many don’t know God in general and are completely confused about who God is. Many have completely accept a Universal ideology about God and have failed to try to understand the deity of God, let alone Christ.
Accoring to our friend even though 66% of US adults believe in “a God” (or even the God of the Bible), 7:10 professing Christians believe God accepts all religions and crazy enough, even though the number is pretty high, still many Christian believe in the One true God (Father, Son and Holy Ghost).
While the overwhelming are Trinitarians in nature, 55% believe Jesus is greater being than the Holy Spirit and nearly 53% believe the Holy Spirit to be a “force”, but not an actual being.

So the misconceptions are not only high, but one could say, we this miscommunication is prevalent. If you think these numbers are hogwash, I want you to turn on your televangelist and listen to how they speak of the Holy Spirit. How some seem to try to reconcile their behaviors at the Holy One’s expense.
It clear, we are in a very important time and we must know this information. Having a great understanding of who the Holy Spirit is, will help us to not only navigate our faith, but helps to affirm the truth of the Gospel and the Bible.
Knowing this will also draws us closer to the Father in through Christ and reassure us that we are on the best path.
Who is responsible?
Be it the pandemic; human desire to move forward and create their own golden calf or just Satan, I don’t know who is responsible or who’s to blame.
All of them can be to blame and I’m sure holds a piece to the puzzle, but I will not spend my time trying figure out who to blame, instead, lets focus on how we can get better.
