Introduction

The Gospels provide us with more than information; they bring us to discovery. The gospel message is a message of good news—wonderful news that must be shared with everyone on the earth. This passionate devotional will bring you to the feet of Jesus Christ in wonder and worship. The historical facts of His life live through the pages of the Bible, and each day you will find Jesus loving the broken, restoring the bruised, and healing the hearts of men and women. So many truths are waiting for you each day as you examine the life of Jesus.

The love of God doesn’t come in spurts. It is constant, eternal, and ever present. Jesus embodied the love of God when He took on human form. How grateful and how blessed we are now, to be able to see what love looks like!

Jesus is love with skin on. He walked, talked, and exuded the ever present love of God wherever He went. To follow Jesus is to follow in the footsteps of this great love. To miss the message of love is to miss the gospel message: “For God so loved the world” (John 3:16). That message begins with a love for every human being, a love that cannot be fully described. And believing that message is not simply believing the facts of Jesus’ life; rather, it is believing in the love that sent Him into the world.

May you experience a measure of the ever present love of Jesus as you turn the pages of this book. May each day become a discovery of how great and vast His love is for you! You will see Jesus through a lens of love as you read each devotion. Consider it a daily journey into the heart of Jesus. He will not disappoint.

Be blessed, my friend, on this exciting excursion into the heart of God!
