We all come to the point where we have to make the decision of what to do with Jesus.
Billy Graham said
One response was given by the innkeeper when Mary and Joseph wanted to find a room where the Child could be born. The innkeeper was not hostile; he was not opposed to them, but his inn was crowded; his hands were full; his mind was preoccupied. This§ is the answer that millions are giving today. Like a Bethlehem innkeeper, they cannot find room for Christ. All the accommodations in their hearts are already taken up by other crowding interests. Their response is not atheism. It is not defiance. It is preoccupation and the feeling of being able to get on reasonably well without Christianity.
Like innkeepers, shepherds, and wisemen we must choose to do something with the news of the birth of Jesus.
We can chose to ignore it, or you can choose to accept that the Jesus who was born was born by God's plan in order to save each and everyone of us.
What decision have YOU made?
You must make the decision. You cannot ride the train of your parents' or grandparents' decision. You must make your own decision about Jesus.
And, some of you may say, well, "I'm still seeking truth."
To that I say, "Good." If you are TRULY seeking that which is true you will find Him.
Jesus said,
John 14:6 NLT
6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
If you are HONESTLY seeking TRUTH and willing to actually follow TRUTH I firmly believe you will find Jesus Christ. So, to those of you who are seeking - I challenge you to HONESTLY seek for TRUTH.
God says, When you seek me you will find me if you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:12–13 NLT
12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
HOWEVER, once you find TRUTH you must make the decision as to what to do with TRUTH.
May you seek TRUTH and when you have found Him, may you decide to not simply make room for Him in your life, but make HIM the reason for your life.
Truly accepting the truth of Jesus is allowing that One called Jesus to save you and TRANSFORM you so that you can declare with your life that Jesus is the Truth you live by.
He's the Truth that gives you Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.
Merry Christmas!
