Jacob had quite the wrestling match, didn’t he? Imagine him in the ring, struggling all night. Just like many of us, Jacob faced our common struggles: fear, identity, and purpose. It’s almost funny to think about how we all wrestle with something. Sometimes we need to embrace that struggle, knowing at the end, we may walk away transformed, just like Jacob walked away with a new name!

Picture a child at the beach, building a sandcastle while listening to their parent’s guidance. The child might think it knows better, but when it follows the parent’s tips, the castle becomes a masterpiece! Just like that child, when we whittle down our plans and lean into God’s wisdom, life’s ‘castle’ is built not just on shifting sand but on solid foundations.

Trust begins at home. If you're feeling a disconnect with your spouse or kids, set aside at least 30 minutes each week for a 'check-in' conversation. Use this time to share your feelings and listen actively to each other's concerns. By openly discussing worries and frustrations, you create a safe space for vulnerability. This will not only enhance your relationship but also build a foundation of trust that can extend into other areas of life.
