Emptiness vs Fullness

What will you fill yourself with?

The empty philosophy of the world or the fullness of Christ?

The elements of the world are empty.

verse 15 Jesus has disarmed and disgraced the rulers and authorities of the world.

who did he disarm and disgrace on the cross? Sin. Death. Hell. Satan and his hosts.

Jesus is the head of this world’s empty rulers and authorities.

A “shadow” is only an image cast by an object which represents its form. Once one finds Christ, he no longer needs to follow the old shadow.
