Greetings this Monday morning in the name of the Lord, the name above every name. Scripture declares it is the name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Welcome to Day 6 of 30, incorporating the names and attributes of our God into our understanding and our following God. Today, we want to talk about our Omniscient God.

6. Omniscient

This means God is all-knowing. God’s knowledge encompasses every possible piece of information regarding anything that currently exists, existed in the past, or will exist in the future.

Scripture:

Psalm 103:14 – for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

Psalm 139:1-6 - 1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. O Lord, You have searched me and known me.

2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.

3 You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways.

4 For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.

5 You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it.

1 John 3:20 - 20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

Hebrews 4:12: For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

1 Corinthians 4:5: "The Lord “will disclose the purposes of the heart”"

Revelation 2:23: Jesus tells John that “I am he who searches minds and hearts”

God knows our Minds and our hearts. Satan knows only our words. The words you speak are life and death. You speak life or death to others and to yourself. Guard your words. Negative talk lets Satan know he is winning. Speak life into your future, and not death.

God knows the thoughts and the intents of the heart.

Prayer: You are the all-knowing God, meaning nothing surprises You. Lord, thank You for knowing the best way to live my life. God, I thank you for trying to show me the way to live. Let my ears be open to hear, my eyes open to see, and my heart love the way of the Lord.
