God is Omnipresent, Day 7 of 30
Welcome to Day 7 of 30, incorporating the names and attributes of our God into our understanding and our following God. Today, we want to talk about our Omnipresent God.
7. Omnipresent
God is everywhere—in and around everything, close to everyone.
Scripture:
Psalm 139:7-12 - 7 Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in [a]hell, behold, You are there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall [b]fall on me,”
Even the night shall be light about me;
12 Indeed, the darkness [c]shall not hide from You,
But the night shines as the day;
The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
Jeremiah 23:23-24 - 23 “Am I a God near at hand,” says the Lord,
“And not a God afar off?
24 Can anyone hide himself in secret places,
So I shall not see him?” says the Lord;
“Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord.
Matthew 28:20 - 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” [a]Amen
Acts 17:27. - 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, ethough he be not far from every one of us:
- Prayer: You are the God who is everywhere. Even when my way seems dark, Your presence is there and with me. Thank You for promising to never leave me.
